[TRAVEL] MT. MAYONG PAYONG, Mobo, Masbate, Philippines (2017)

Mayong Payong is a tourist spot on the top of the Mountain in Mobo. You have to hike up to top however if  you don't want to walk, they have HABAL-HABAL (motorcycle transportation) P40-P50 each/one way or you can bring your own motorcycle/car (they have a parking fee, so bring extra money).

As we reached the peek of the mountain, you can see the whole city of Masbate, you can see also the most popular sandbar in Masbate which is the Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary.

CITY OF MASBATE

So far, Mayong Payong has View Deck, Nipa Huts (P200-P300/night), swings and under construction convention building (I think?) :D (I wish they don't add more)

You can bring your own tent for camping.

LET'S ENJOY THE VIEW!

It was really calming and peaceful up there.
It's really  amazing to escape the busy, noisy and crowded city and go somewhere we can loosen up and collect ourselves.
So I must say, this place is a must-go to be carefree.
The view was extraordinary. The landscape designs are pleasing. I like the scattered rocks effect.

PS. They have fees (admission & parking)

Admission: P25 for adults.

I don't know for children and for parking.

NOTE:
If you're going to ride habal-habal, always on alert and ready because it is dangerous. Though the habal-habal drivers are used to go up and down, they sometimes got accident (just like what happened to me, glad I'm on full alert).

If you're going to bring your motorcycle or car up, be extra careful.

I just hope they should stop building unnecessary structures and stop making it systematized.
Let the nature as it is.
