PACKAGING:

 The box are the same with their other line of lipstick (Red Romance Lipstick). But the differences are the label and the color (Red Romance has red at the lower part of the box and this has dark plum color).

And the lipstick packaging itself is like a "gun bullet?" :) It is a gray shimmering plastic packaging. I like it. And I also like it because of how tight the cap, it will not open easily especially if you put it inside of your bag.

SWATCHES:

BRONZE

Bronze is a light nude shade. Perfect for 'no makeup' makeup :D I really like this shade, I would wear it everyday.

CABARET

Cabaret is like a pink-ish coral shade. I prefer this shade as my natural look and it is perfect for summer.

OVERALL:

PROs:

• Affordable. For less than 200 pesos only.
• A lot of shades to choose.
• Pigmented
• Not too dry. 
• When the product erased, it leaves stain to the lips and I find it really good. The stains last for a long time.
• When I eat or drink, it doesn't erase easily.

CON:

• Just the color pay off is not that great. But it is okay.

PACKAGING looks classy. I love how they made a lipstick shaped inside the acrylic tube as it shows the color/shade of the lip polish. THUMBS UP! 

APPLICATOR:

The wand was a semi-flat triangle with a little of angle. It fits perfectly on my lips and it glides smoothly.

Hmmm.. I didn't thought it was like a Coral color because I was expected to have a kinda dark red-brown color (that was shown on the packaging).

It's okay. I still love the color tho. Perfect for everyday makeup. :)

After I apply, it gives me a sticky feeling at first but when the lip polish set on my lips, it feels so moist and natural.

It does not stay long. After you eat or drink, it's gone even though its still have a bit of tint.

SCENT:

It doesn't have any scent at all.

OVERALL:

PROS:

• Affordable
• Classy yet cute packaging
• Very moisturizing
• Easy to apply. Perfect applicator.
• No scent at all
• Available worldwide

CONS:

• Too sticky at first after application
• Not long lasting
• The actual product color/shades are slightly not the same from the packaging.

Always bring it with you to re-apply or re-touch.

[REVIEW] FASHION21 Red Romance Lipstick UPDATED!

Shade: CHERIE AMOUR & HEART THROB

Price: 175 PHP

Fashion 21 has a Lipstick Collection called "RED ROMANCE". The the term "Red" itself, it has variety of Red shades lipstick.

I'm not really a fan of red lipstick, but I really wanted to try Dark Red lipstick because it looks so fierce. Then, I looked around inside the department store (SM) then this shades captured me and yes I bought it. hahaha

PACKAGING:

They changed the box now. Before, it is a full glossy red box. Now, it is a matte gray and red box (photo above). It is still have a hole directly in the bottom of the lipstick which you can identify the shades. I like the current design.

They put the logo in the outside.

They erased the logo inside.

Well, I actually love the packaging. It suits well in the theme. Typical lipstick packaging that made in good quality of plastic. I like the combination of Red color from the outside and black in the inside. 

(UPDATE: I like the current packaging.)

SWATCH:

Cherie Amour is a dark red shade lipsticks.

Heart Throb is more likely has a hint of orange.

It is very moisturizing. And easy to apply, it glides smoothly. But not so great color pay off, it is not the same color where in the package and when you swipe.

SCENT:

It has kinda light scent but it is not bad. I can barely smell it anyway. So that's fine. :D

LONGEVITY:

Hmmm. When I eat or drink, it fades. So I can't say how long this product stays.

OVERALL:

PROs:

• Budget friendly
• Available nationwide (Philippines)
• Very Moisturizing
• Great packaging

Con/s:

• Fades easily.
• The pigmentation is not consistent.
• Not so great color pay off.

I heard a lot of good feedbacks about this lipstick so I have high expectation of these. 

Then, I decided to buy to witness it with myself. :)

• Its MATTE but not too dry.
• Creamy!
• Lightweight. Not heavy at all.
• Its comfortable wearing it.
• LONG LASTING.. even after I eat and drink, I still had on it <3
