SUMMER 2014: Porta Vega Beach Resort, Dimasalang, Masbate

Porta Vega Beach Resort
Dimasalang, Masbate, Philippines

Porta Vega Beach is a white and fine sand beach in Masbate that located in Dimasalang.

From the city of Masbate to Dimasalang Port took like 45mins-1hr trip. You have to rent a motorboat that will take you to Porta Vega Beach that took 15-20mins only.

Since, the beach is not that famous and less tourist, Dimasalang does not have a tourist's or a passenger's motorboat though they have but its a small one. For many passengers, they only have large fisher's motorboat that can provide 20 persons.

and here is PORTA VEGA BEACH RESORT!

They had a lot of Dwarf Coconuts that make the place looks so amazing. They had a total of four(4) cottages with electricity. Though they don't have an entrance fee, but you have to pay 500 pesos for the cottage. The fee is very worthy because this beach is so clean and beatiful. Bring your own foods because there's no restaurants or stores.
They have 2 restrooms, one for bathing or changing your clothes and the other one is with toilet bowl.

The sand is so fine and white. The water is clear. I was so amazed. Didn't know that Masbate has this kind of beach. I'm glad that I experienced it.

Another reason why Porta Vega Beach Resort is MUST VISIT because of this.

A beautiful CHAPEL in a resort.

HOW TO GET THERE?
To Masbate City:
Ride an Aircraft that only took 30mins.
By vessels: Roro Shuttle from Batangas (16-18hrs)
Roro Bus from Cubao & Alabang to Pilar (12hrs) Pilar to Masbate (4hrs)
Any bus to Pilar (12hrs) + Fast Craft from Pilar (2hrs)

To Dimasalang Port:
Private Car (45mins)
Public Transportation (1hr)
Motor Boat (15-20mins)

All I can say that PORTA VEGA BEACH RESORT is a worth to visit. I enjoyed it a lot though the place is not fully developed yet. This place has a better future.

'Till next time Porta Vega! :)
