Mayong Payong has been known since the Holy Week in the year 2015.
Mayong Payong is a tourist spot on the top of the Mountain in Mobo. You have to hike up to top but they also have HABAL-HABAL (motorcycle transportation) P40 each/one way.
From the top of the mountain, you can see the whole city of Masbate, you can see also the most popular sandbar in Masbate which is the Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary.
So far, Mayong Payong only has View Deck, Nipa Hut (P200 overnight) and store since it is still under construction.
